Studying the Rusty Blackbird

Do you live in South Carolina and want to help in the study of the Rusty Blackbird? The Cape Roman Bird Observatory (CRBO) is working hard to study and save the Rusty Blackbird.

CRBO’s assistance to the Rusty Blackbird Technical Working Group has consisted of:

- Providing background and historical information, on Rusty Blackbird flocks

- Help in selecting optimum netting/banding locations

- Help gaining permission for mist-netting, banding, etc. on public and private land

- Site preparation

If you would like more information or help in the Rusty Blackbird effort or other project they may have read more at their website.
